HONOLULU — The University of Hawai’i women’s swimming and diving teams commenced 2025 with several runner-up standings against Harvard and Arkansas at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex. Harvard triumphed over Hawai’i 172-71 while Arkansas outperformed UH with a score of 130-113. The UH men’s swim and dive teams also participated in exhibition events on Thursday evening.

In the men’s exhibition swimming competitions, Karol Ostrowski triumphed in the 100 free (43.81), 100 Fly (48.71) and the 50 free (20.43). Recent mid-season recruit Korey Tiell clinched victory in the 100 back (51.23) and the 200 back (1:55.10) during his debut as a Rainbow Warrior.
The men’s and women’s swim and dive teams will host their final home competition of the season against Whitman at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatics Complex on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 5:00 p.m. HT. The teams will honor their 22 seniors as they celebrate Senior Night at the conclusion of the meet.
