“They’ve modified their network and destinations to ensure that they’re increasing capacity for leisure travel,” he elaborated.

This includes charging extra for premium services, even for individual business travelers whose tickets may be covered by their companies, he remarked.

“There is a significant trend toward individuals being willing to spend their own money on more comfortable seating, premium seating, whether that’s more legroom or first class on domestic flights,” he noted.
