Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men’s swim squad suffered a 107-73 PSAC defeat against the visiting Shippensburg on Friday afternoon at McComb Fieldhouse.
 
In the initial event for the men, Braden Hain, Jake Hillibush, Elijah Innis and Frank Barger collaborated to secure victory in the 200-yard medley relay, finishing first with a time of 1:38.69.
 
Tommy Collins achieved a third-place result in the 200-yard freestyle with a clocking of 1:50.46. Subsequently, Frank Barger recorded a time of 22.57 in the 50-freestyle, finishing in second.
 
During the 200 individual medley, Christian Connell completed the race in 2:07.53, earning third place. In the 100-butterfly, Innis finished first with a time of 52.55, while Collins took third place with a time of 53.54. Collins also secured a third-place result in the 500-freestyle, finishing in 5:11.84.
 
Hain captured a second-place finish in the 100 freestyle, swim time of 48.53. Connell marked a first-place finish in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:01.30, while Hillibush gathered second-place points with a time of 1:02.87.
 
The Edinboro 200-freestyle relay team, consisting of Hain, Adrian Fikry Reina, Innis, and Barger, concluded the meet triumphantly, clocking in at 1:28.17 for first place.
 
The Scots will return to the pool on Saturday to compete against Allegheny at McComb Fieldhouse. The event is scheduled for 1 p.m.
