An Arctic cold front this evening will revive a band of heavier, more comprehensive snowfall. Travel situations may deteriorate for a few hours, just following sunset. Stronger gusts behind the Arctic front will drive lake effect snow showers inland for Monday, with numerous regions accumulating anywhere from 3-6″ of snow between tonight and Wednesday. Overnight feels like temperatures will drop to the single digits, with sustained winds between 10 to 15 mph and stronger gusts. On Monday, temperatures will decline from around 30 degrees to 10 degrees by nightfall. Tuesday will remain in the teens, with feels like temperatures sinking below zero at times. Lake effect snow showers are expected to persist on and off through Wednesday, with temperatures rising back into the low to mid 30s for highs to conclude the week.
