Favorites Steal the Spotlight: Bettors’ Bold Moves in This Sunday’s NFL Wild-Card Showdown!

Bettors favor all but a single home team in the four NFL wild-card matchups that remain.

Conversely, if the No. 7 seed Broncos achieve an upset, they will move on to Kansas City to battle the Chiefs, while the Ravens will welcome the Houston Texans.

The Broncos and Bills will commence Sunday’s games, ensuring that the first round of the AFC playoffs concludes prior to the start of the NFC playoffs. The Eagles are presently 5.5-point favorites at home versus the Packers and are attracting 73% of the wagers and 72% of the total funds. The line has shifted two points in Philly’s favor following Jalen Hurts’ official clearance from the NFL’s concussion protocol, confirming that he will start for the Eagles.

The Buccaneers are 3-point favorites against the Commanders on Sunday evening and are capturing 57% of the bets and 60% of the total funds.

The only home team not receiving a significant amount of action is also the sole home team that is an underdog. The Rams are currently 2.5-point underdogs against the Minnesota Vikings, who are gathering 70% of the bets and 66% of the monetary total. The game on Monday night has been relocated from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, due to wildfires affecting the Los Angeles region.

If both the Eagles and Buccaneers win, the Lions will face the victor of Monday night’s matchup in the divisional round on Jan. 19.

Up to this point, favorites hold a 1-1 record in the NFL playoffs, as the Los Angeles Chargers were road favorites against the Texans on Saturday. Houston triumphed 32-12 as a 2.5-point underdog, with Chargers QB Justin Herbert throwing four interceptions.
