Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men’s swimming squad achieved a 135-29 triumph over the visiting Allegheny on Saturday afternoon at McComb Fieldhouse.
 
The 200-yard medley relay quartet consisting of Matthew Shollenberger, Christian Connell, Frank Barger, and Adrian Fikry Reina propelled the Scots to a quick lead with a first-place finish recorded in a time of 1:41.44.
 
Barger and Brian Bell secured the top two positions in the 200-freestyle, timing in at 1:54.56 and 1:56.07 respectively. The Scots dominated the 100-backstroke, clinching the top three spots with Elijah Innis finishing in 54.97, Braden Hain clocking in at 55.34, and Schollenberger wrapping up in 56.39.
 
Jake Hillibush registered a time of 1:01.15 to claim first in the 100-breaststroke, narrowly edging out Connell who finished with a time of 1:01.37.
 
Tommy Collins clinched first place in the 200-butterfly, completing the race in 1:58.48. Hain took the lead in the 50-freestyle, achieving a time of 22.40 just ahead of Kasey Stanton, who finished in 22.61. Innis celebrated his second first-place result of the day in the 100-freestyle, finishing in 50.61.
 
Bell secured victory in the 200-backstroke with a finishing time of 2:08.17. Connell captured first place in the 200-breaststroke, concluding the race in 2:18.79. Innis added his third first-place finish in the 100-butterfly with a time of 54.48. Collins concluded the individual events by clinching first in the 200 individual medley, timing in at 2:09.60.
 
The relay team featuring Stanton, Barger, Hain, and Innis capped off the meet with a time of 1:28.10, securing the win in the 200-freestyle relay.
 
The Scots will be competing again next Saturday as they host the PennWest Duals inside McComb Fieldhouse. It will be senior day, and the swimming events will commence at 1 p.m.
