LOUDONVILLE, NY – Upon returning to the Empire State, Siena Swim & Dive experienced a defeat against the visiting University of Vermont, with a score of 187.5-104.5 at the Siena Swim Center on Saturday afternoon. 
 
Sydney Murray captured first place on the 1m board with a personal record of 201.38. Additionally, she secured second on the 3m board with a score of 203.18. 
 
Shaylea Triller and Natalie Blume were in close competition in the 50 free, taking second and third, only 0.01 seconds apart. Triller earned second place in 25.13, while Blume followed in third at 25.14. Triller also finished second in the 100 free (54.03). Gabrielle Rentosa finished in second place in the 100 back, timing in at 1:00.22, whereas Hope Ivanovich secured second in the 100 fly (1:00.11).

The Saints will return to the pool at noon next Saturday, Jan. 18, for their final home competition of the season against Stonehill. Before the event, the team will honor their graduating members Maddie Buck, Kylie Carter, Olivia Martin, Mya Reed, and Shaylea Triller. The ceremony is set to begin 30 minutes before the meet at 11:30 a.m.
