“Abington Heights Girls and Tunkhannock Boys Shine as Champions at the Thrilling Classic Gold Relays!”

Abington Heights girls narrowly triumphed over Delaware Valley and Scranton Prep to seize the team championship, while Tunkhannock and Delaware Valley divided the boys’ title at the 2025 Classic Gold Relays hosted at the University of Scranton on Saturday.

The Lady Comets established a meet record in the 5×100 Free Crescendo Relay, with the team comprising Ella Bannon, Audra Wimmer, Hadley Pallman, Carmen Palomares Giner, and Emily Phipps finishing in a time of 5 minutes, 16.18 seconds.

Scranton Prep girls secured victories in six relay events during the girls’ competition.

Tunkhannock accomplished five victories and set three meet records to stand out in the boys’ events.
