Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College swimming and diving teams for both men and women hosted LIU at the Rev. Vincent B. Ryan, S.J. Pool on Monday, Jan. 13. The Sharks emerged victorious in both competitions, defeating Le Moyne’s men’s team, 158-136, and the women’s team, 176-118.

Women’s Team:

Senior Brenna Horan (Bayport, N.Y./Bayport-Blue Point/SUNY Geneseo) took second in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.68) and the 50-yard butterfly (28.75).

O’Dea finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 1:10.05, and secured second in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 32.23.

Men’s Team:
The freshman team of Jake Griffin (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse), Lucas Clay (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker), and Jack Milligan (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip), alongside sophomore Justin Enser (Hilton, N.Y./Hilton), finished second in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:36.82.

Freshman Michael White Jr. (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) captured first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:44.45 and took second in the 500-yard freestyle at 4:49.40.

Clay finished first in both the 50-yard and 100-yard breaststrokes, concluding with times of 27.12 and 59.04, respectively.

Freshman Alex Pilieci (Ottawa, O.N./John McCrae) achieved second in both the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.21 and 400-yard IM at 4:23.34.

Enser secured second place in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing at 21.92.

Sophomore Michael Han (Auckland, N.Z./Pakuranga College) claimed the first position in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing at 48.37.
