Get Fit and Have Fun: Discover the Excitement at the B.T.B.Y. Expo!

Residents of Meridian reveled, danced, and had a delightful time Saturday as B.T.B.Y. Way of Life hosted its Health and Wellness Expo at Uptown Meridian Mall.

Darrin Mitchell Jr., a fitness coach and the founder of B.T.B.Y. Way of Life, stated that the expo showcased various health and wellness speakers and vendors focused on assisting residents in uncovering the physical and mental advantages of exercise, as well as familiarizing them with local community resources.

Mitchell noted he established B.T.B.Y., denoting Be The Best You, following his personal health experience. In 2018, he recounted grappling with significant depression and poor mental well-being, and exercise played a crucial role in lifting him from that phase.

“At that moment, I could not perceive where it was leading me, but I am immensely thankful it brought me here,” he remarked.

Through his organization, Mitchell expressed his goal of motivating others, assisting them in overcoming negative thoughts, achieving better health, and becoming the best versions of themselves.
