While smartglasses have been available for a period, we discovered even more innovations at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, including a new design from Halliday.
Accompanying the glasses is what the company describes as the world’s most compact display module, measuring merely 3.6mm in width.
When donned, the glasses provide a display that appears as though you are viewing a 3.5-inch screen, without obstructing your line of sight.
Additionally, the display can only be seen by the wearer, ensuring total privacy.
This allows for real-time translations, viewing notifications, and accessing instant replies.
The Halliday smartglasses might also serve as a teleprompter in presentations, meetings, and interviews.
They could also facilitate audio recording for those instances when you need to recall what has been said.
The glasses are also equipped with a control ring that allows you to scroll and maneuver through the device with your finger while providing the ability to create shortcuts for your most commonly utilized features.
Funded via Kickstarter, the Halliday smartglasses are currently accepting deposits from customers looking to secure the final promotional price of $US369.
Shipping of the final version will commence in late March.
