In this position, you will transport residents during scheduled outings and special events while also overseeing the vehicle’s condition and organizing necessary maintenance as required.

Position Overview

• Transport residents and carry out community errands as assigned.
• Ensure that all residents utilizing the transportation return safely to the building.
• Assist all residents entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle by performing and/or coordinating regular interior/exterior cleaning.
• Report mechanical requirements and repairs, and assist in organizing to complete the repairs.

Requirements

• You have experience operating a large vehicle, such as a van, truck, or bus.
• You currently hold a valid driver’s license to operate the building’s vehicle.
• You maintain a safe driving record in line with Senior Lifestyle company policy.
• You are capable of driving a vehicle without becoming easily distracted by conversing passengers and other external factors.
