David Fallon explores the human form through the interplay of light and shadow. By doing this, he encourages viewers to contemplate what beauty signifies on a personal level. The collection scrutinizes how light, perspective, and space influence an individual’s view of beauty. This series of multicultural figure studies also questions prevalent narratives by including artists from diverse cultural and gender backgrounds. The captivating photographs featured in this exhibition reveal that beauty exists within all individuals.

Operating as a mixed-media artist from St. Paul, MN, David Fallon dedicates his time outside of creating art to serving on the board of an arts nonprofit and advocating for inclusivity. His works have been displayed both nationally and internationally, demonstrating his dedication to social justice and uniting individuals through the arts. The exhibit, Shapes and Spaces: Light, Shadow and the Human Form, is supported by funding from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the National Endowment for the Arts.
