MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – After achieving a 9.95 on the floor exercise, senior Anna Leigh from the West Virginia University gymnastics squad has been honored as the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, sponsored by University Apartments.
Hailing from St. Michael, Minnesota, Leigh secured a flawless 10.0 from one judge and a 9.9 from another, culminating in a career-high 9.95. This score surpassed her earlier career mark of 9.925, which she achieved as a freshman on February 21, 2022.
