NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has revealed its Women’s Swimming & Diving Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday for events held from Monday, Jan. 6 to Sunday, Jan. 12.
 
Swimming: Tess Boyer, Wheaton, Sophomore (Merrian, Kan.)
Boyer secured her fourth weekly recognition from the CCIW this season after triumphing in the 200 individual medley at the Illinois-Michigan tri-meet with Hope and Kalamazoo last Saturday in Wheaton. Her victorious time of 2:08.78 shattered an eight-year-old meet record.
 
Boyer also claimed second place in the 200 backstroke, just missing her personal best of 2:07.07 with a time of 2:07.28.
 
Diving: Lara Stamp, Wheaton, Freshman (Valparaiso, Ind.)
Stamp became the second student-athlete to receive three weekly diving accolades from the conference office after achieving two new personal records at Saturday’s competition. On the 3-meter board, Stamp surpassed 200 for the first time, scoring 206.05.
 
On the 1-meter board, she achieved nearly 100 points above her previous score, diving 393.30 and narrowly missing the regional qualifying mark by just under 2 points.
