PHILADELPHIAMegan Ehrnfeldt, Sebastian Smith, and Luke Nichter have been recognized as the Drexel Dragons of the Week, courtesy of Rothman Orthopedics, for the period of January 6th to January 12th.

The 400 free relay team included Brittany Corbett, Olivia Scherbin, Megan Ehrnfeldt, and Mari Alencar, who finished first with a mark of 3:30.15. The 200 medley relay composed of Federica Nocera, Emma Pillich, Megan Ehrnfeldt, and Mari Alencar also finished in first, clocking in at 1:45.39.

Sebastian Smith, who is part of men’s swimming and diving, contributed to four pool records during a triumph over Delaware this past weekend. Luke Nichter, a wrestler, secured two victories against former NCAA Tournament qualifiers during the NWCA Mid-Major National Duals this recent weekend. Nichter caused an upset against No. 20 Jude Swisher of Penn, earning a fall within the first two minutes of the opening period. The redshirt senior also defeated Cal Poly’s Legend Lamer, a three-time NCAA qualifier, with a narrow 3-2 decision.
