What is the minimum age requirement for the Dolphin Encounter?

Individuals of all ages are invited to Sea Life Park. Participants in the Dolphin Encounter must be at least 8 years old, and guests aged between 8 and 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the Dolphin Encounter.

What should we do if my group and I are delayed for our encounter time?

We recommend that all attendees arrive at Sea Life Park no less than one hour before their scheduled encounter time. If you find yourself running late, please call us at: (808) 259-2500. We will gladly assist in re-scheduling you and your group for the next available encounter opportunity. Please be aware that refunds are not provided for missed encounter times.

What is included in the Dolphin Encounter?

The Dolphin Encounter offers entry to Sea Life Park along with a 30-minute educational interaction experience in Dolphin Lagoon, facilitated by our exceptional animal care team. Please note that a life jacket will be provided by our staff and must be worn by all encounter participants.

How long does the Dolphin Encounter last?

The experience lasts for 30 minutes. All guests are encouraged to arrive one hour prior to their assigned time slot. If you do not arrive at least one hour early, your encounter booking will be canceled, and refunds will not be available.

What should I wear on the day of my encounter at the park?

Guests are advised to bring their own swimsuits, aquatic shoes, or rubber pool footwear (if desired), along with dry clothing. Please note, for the well-being of the animals, visitors are not permitted to wear any jewelry in the Dolphin Lagoon.

What steps should I take if I need to cancel my encounter?

Cancellations can be processed by calling the reservation desk at (808) 259-2500 at least 48 hours prior to your encounter’s start time. If cancellations occur less than 48 hours in advance, or if your party does not show up, you will incur a charge for your encounter.

Are there any constraints for pregnant women?

We do not impose restrictions on expectant mothers; the choice is ultimately left to each individual.

Will I need to sign any liability waivers?

All participants or their legal guardians must sign a liability release and waiver form before taking part in the encounter.
