Danielle Barberie (Nanaimo, British Columbia)
Nanaimo District Secondary School / Nanaimo Riptides Swim Team
Barberie transitioned from national-level artistic swimming to competitive speed swimming starting in the 2022-23 season. She was crowned the provincial high school champion in the 100 breast in 2023. Barberie achieved a bronze medal in the 200 breast and a silver in the 100 breast at the Canadian Western Championships in 2024. She finished fourth in the 18 and under (junior) division in the 200 breast at the 2024 Canadian Olympic Trials.

She ranked 10th in the 1-meter and 11th in the 3-meter at the 2024 AAU Nationals and also finished 10th in the 1-meter at USA Nationals.
Nicole Fant (Jasper, Indiana)
Jasper High School / Jasper Aquatic Wildcats
Fant earned the title of 2024 SIAC Conference Swimmer of the Year, was a four-time SIAC Conference Champion, a two-time school and sectional record holder, an 11-time IHSAA Sectional Champion, and a two-time Indiana High School State Athletic Association (IHSSA) State Finalist.

She was distinguished by the Sun Sentinel as All-County in the 200 Medley Relay, 200 IM, and 100 Back in 2023. Additionally, she achieved Miami Herald All-Broward First Team honors in the 200 IM, 200 medley, and the 200 free relay. Schoenborn garnered Second Team recognition from the Sun Sentinel in the 200 IM and the 100 back, alongside First Team acknowledgment for the 200 medley relay. She was part of the 2022 Miami Herald All-Country First Team in the 400 free relay and received accolades from the Sun Sentinel for the 200 medley relay. Schoenborn was recognized as a top-50 recruit from Florida and achieved qualifying times for numerous national championship meets, making several finals in various events.

She played a key role in her high school’s 2023 state championship 200 medley relay team and assisted the team in securing second place in the 400 free relay during the same competition.
