After Friday’s dual meet, the Panthers will head to Southern Illinois to compete against the Salukis. Previously, Eastern participated in Carbondale at the SIU A3 Performance Invite in November.

On the men’s side, Conner Colston and Dismas Dillon both recorded first-place finishes for the Panthers. Colston triumphed in the 200 free with a time of 1:42.40, while Dillon secured gold in the 50 free with a time of 21.41.
Colston also achieved a third-place finish in the 100 free with a time of 47.45.

HEAD COACH: Scott Teeters is in his inaugural season as the head swimming coach for Eastern Illinois. Teeters brings nearly 40 years of coaching experience, including 25 at the collegiate level. He has guided Division I programs at Eastern Michigan, Oakland, and Gardner Webb, and served as head coach at Olivet Nazarene University, leading his teams to three national championships, including consecutive men’s titles in 2016 and 2017, as well as a women’s championship in 2017. Teeters has also held various leadership positions within USA Swimming.
