Duke Dominates Miami: A Stunning 89-54 Victory on January 14, 2025!

DURHAM, N.C. — — Freshman Kon Knueppel achieved season highs with 25 points and six 3-pointers, contributing to No. 3 Duke’s victory over Miami 89-54 on Tuesday night, maintaining their unbeaten status in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Khaman Maluach tallied 12 points and 15 rebounds for the Blue Devils (15-2, 7-0), who shot at 54.8% accuracy and converted 17 of 32 3-point attempts, with 11 made before the intermission. Duke held a 24-point advantage at halftime and never allowed Miami to come closer than 19 points afterwards.

Duke’s Cooper Flagg — recognized as The Associated Press men’s college basketball national player of the week earlier on Tuesday after netting a record-breaking 42 points against Notre Dame — contributed 13 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.

Lynn Kidd netted 20 points for the Hurricanes (4-13, 0-6).
