STORRS, Conn. – The sixth-seeded UConn women’s basketball squad (915-2, 6-0 BIG EAST) faces off against St. John’s (11-5, 1-4) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Carnesecca Arena. The matchup will be broadcast on SNY and the UConn Sports Network through Learfield (FOX Sports 97-9).

Graduate student Azzi Fudd contributed 21 points and made five three-pointers to propel UConn past Georgetown, securing a 73-55 victory last Saturday in Washington, D.C. Fudd tallied 12 points in the second half and finished 4-6 from beyond the arc. Freshman Sarah Strong achieved 16 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and three steals.
