Spotlight on Excellence: WAC’s Top Men’s Swimming and Diving Athletes Unveiled by University Credit Union

ARLINGTON, Texas – Wyoming’s Caleb Ozenne and Bruno Grau have been honored as the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Swimmer and Diver of the Week, for the competition week concluding on Sunday, Jan. 12.
 
Ozenne, a junior, achieved three top-two placements for Wyoming during its dual competition with Denver. Ozenne triumphed in the 200 freestyle (1:42.66) and secured second place in the 200 backstroke (1:54.70). Ozenne and the Cowboys concluded the day with a second-place achievement in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:06.47.
 
Grau, a sophomore, won the 3-meter dive with a personal record and zone qualifying score of 337.88. Grau also recorded a season-best score of 284.63 in the 1-meter dive, finishing in third position for that event.
