Capture the Moment: Join Us for the Regional 4-H Photography Workshop on March 8!

Attention all 4-H photographers and aspiring 4-H photographers! Washington County 4-H, alongside our neighboring 4-H programs, is hosting a full-day Photography Workshop at Dallmeyer Hall on the Washington County Fairgrounds on March 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Subjects will cover: Focus, Image Clarity, Backgrounds, Lighting, Exposure, Basic Cropping, Careers in Photography, Narrating a story through your photo, Presenting images at the fair, Photo mounting practice, and much more.

Enroll online by Feb. 15, as spots are limited. A $15 fee will be used to cover the day’s expenses. 4-H participants should dress appropriately for any weather condition and wear footwear suitable for outdoor photography assignments. Participants will also need to bring a: packed lunch, charged camera, and a printed 4” x 6” photograph. Parents are invited to observe as learners only.

Photography is an excellent project area within 4-H for youth interested in the arts, allowing them to capture images on various subjects of interest.
