Facilitator: Phil Witt, Associate Naturalist
This workshop will emphasize methods utilized for capturing images of wildlife, particularly birds. Alongside evaluating the selection and application of equipment, aspects such as timing, environmental conditions, composition, and illumination will be addressed. Participants will be acquainted with essential factors to manage in bird/wildlife photography, including exposure and shutter speed. Phil will outline customary camera configurations beneficial for bird/wildlife photography. Furthermore, the session will feature photo editing techniques applicable for refining wildlife pictures using Adobe Camera RAW, Photoshop, and NIK Plug Ins. Students are encouraged to present one image (ideally RAW) for editing demonstrations. Lecture/discourse.
Ticket sales conclude on 3/21/25 at 4:00 PM.
