Visa Documentation Information

Requests for Invitation Letters

International participants will need to secure a visa in order to attend this year’s conference in the United States. Some individuals, however, may qualify for visa-free entry if they fulfill the necessary criteria. To find out which visa category you qualify for, please utilize the Visa Wizard tool.

The Protein Society can provide an invitation letter to support your visa process upon request. To obtain a letter, you must satisfy one of the following conditions:

• Be a TPS member in good standing
• Be an author or speaker listed on a scientific submission for the conference
• Be a confirmed attendee

Invitation Letter Requests from The Protein Society:
To aid international participants, The Protein Society will also issue invitation letters. To request one, you must complete your registration for the meeting and pay the registration fees in full. Invitation letters will not be issued without a paid registration. Please include your registration receipt in your request. Invitation letters will be sent to you via email on Protein Society letterhead within 5 business days.
