MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan women’s swimming & diving squad achieved five top finishes during the evening but narrowly missed in the overall scoring as the Cardinals were defeated in a dual meet against Trinity, 159-140, on Wednesday night at the Webster Family Natatorium.
Leading the charge for the Cardinals, with two top finishes and a second place, was Olivia Stevenson ’25. The senior captain was at the forefront, securing victories in the 500 free and 1000 free while adding a second place finish in the 400 IM. Stevenson’s active evening commenced with a commanding show in the 1000 free, finishing first by over a 25 second margin with a time of 11:04.16.
