COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s Swimming & Diving Weekly Honors were awarded to Colorado Mesa University senior Andrew Scoggin and junior Wyatt Hermanson, respectively, on Wednesday.
Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Andrew Scoggin, Colorado Mesa (Senior, Greely, Colorado)
Scoggin secures his second RMAC Swimmer of the Week accolade after achieving victories in four events at the UNLV Invitational prior to the holiday break, followed by a triumph in the Mavericks’ dual against Utah last weekend. At UNLV, he recorded an individual victory in the 100 backstroke (46.91) and set a personal best and “B” qualifying standard of 20.24 in the 50 freestyle. Scoggin also participated in CMU’s victorious relay teams for the 200 freestyle relay, 200 medley relay, and 400 freestyle relay. The Mavericks matched a program record with a time of 1:19.09 in the 200 freestyle relay. Following the break, Scoggin triumphed in the 100 backstroke event in a dual against Utah.

Men’s Diver of the Week
Wyatt Hermanson, Colorado Mesa (Junior, Mandan, North Dakota)
Hermanson clinched the 1-meter diving event during Colorado Mesa’s dual meet against Utah last weekend. He achieved a personal best of 287.03 in the six-dive competition, once again exceeding the NCAA Pre-Championship qualification threshold. Hermanson placed second in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 273.00.
