Splash Showdown: Swimming and Diving Takes on Xavier and Kentucky in Epic Weekend Duals

CINCINNATI – The swimming and diving program at the University of Cincinnati is set to compete this weekend with consecutive dual meets against Xavier and Kentucky at the Keating Aquatic Center.

The Bearcats will commence their homestand on Friday, clashing with the Xavier Musketeers. Diving events are slated to start at 1 p.m., followed by the swimming events commencing at 3 p.m.

On Saturday, Cincinnati will host Kentucky to celebrate Senior Day. Diving events are set to kick off at 11:30 a.m., while swimming will start at 2 p.m. Due to a concurrent Cincinnati basketball doubleheader also beginning at 2 p.m., attendees are advised to arrive early to circumvent traffic delays.

A special ceremony honoring seven seniors will commence at 1:30 p.m. The Class of 2025 consists of Will Claus, Meghan Fleury, Maddy Hensler, Erik Menchhofer, Kaylee Nagel, Collin Singler, and Annabelle Young.

Furthermore, the program will acknowledge two early graduates, Ingrid Fretz and Grace Gavin, along with six fifth-year athletes: Jessica Davis, Peyton D’Emanuele, Hunter Gubeno, Lexi Kucera, Corban McIntosh, and Max Murray.
