HARRISONBURG, VA – The Villanova Women’s swimming and diving team is set to embark on their journey this weekend as they head to James Madison and Richmond.

The Wildcats will compete against James Madison on Friday, with diving commencing at 10 a.m. and swimming starting at 12 p.m. The previous encounter was in 2012 when the ‘Cats hosted and triumphed over the Dukes 159.50-139.50.

On Saturday, the Wildcats will proceed to Richmond to contend with the Spiders. The last matchup between Villanova and Richmond ended in a draw at 150-150. In 2023, Villanova secured a victory with a score of 161-139 and in 2022, they triumphed with a score of 161-120.

In last year’s clash with Richmond, Katie White showcased an impressive performance, finishing first in the 200 fly, followed closely by Anna Farley and Arabella Lee in second and third places. In the 100 fly, Lee topped another trio with a first-place finish, while Martina Lonati and Farley trailed in second and third.

On the diving platform, Michelle Kasulka clinched the first spot in the 3-meter event and took second place in the 1-meter.
