LEWISBURG, Pa. – Jack Krug spearheaded a significant day for the Bucknell divers, achieving two victories, while Chris Kopac, Andy Dorsel, and Alex Crossing also claimed wins for the Bison. However, it proved insufficient as a formidable Loyola men’s swimming and diving team established an early dominant lead and maintained it for a 194-106 outcome on Friday afternoon at Kinney Natatorium.
Krug’s remarkable display featured a personal-best score in the 1-meter diving event. His 295.65 points positioned him in a tie for second on Bucknell’s all-time performers list. The school record of 318.15 set by Adam Freeman in 2005 remains intact, while Krug now shares the No. 2 spot with David Magaro (2010). Loyola improved its record to 6-2 this season, with its only defeats coming from LSU and Navy, totaling five 1-2-3 finishes and achieving 1-2 in three other events.
