Discovering Educational Adventures: Oklahoma’s K-12 School Choice Expo for Families!

OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The options for K-12 education in Oklahoma City continue to expand, and so does the enthusiasm for the annual school expo that occurs during National School Choice Week, which gathers various types of schools under one venue. This complimentary, family-friendly event will furnish resources and information to assist parents in making educated choices regarding their children’s education while establishing direct connections with school representatives throughout the state.

The complimentary Oklahoma School Choice Expo is scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Advance Center For Free Enterprise. Hundreds of parents and students will pass through the Center’s doors to investigate over 25 local school options and community resource providers at the fair, encompassing traditional public, public charter, public magnet, private, faith-based, online, home, and alternative schooling choices.

Recent modifications to education policies, such as the Parental Choice Tax Credit Act, have broadened prospects for Oklahoma families. This program provides financial assistance of up to $7,500 annually for private school or homeschool expenses, featuring a tiered system that gives priority to low-income families.

While parents gather information, children can enjoy activities such as a balloon artist, photo booth, face painting, and sandwiches.
