Introducing Our Esteemed Member: Jerry Halsey, Jr.

Jerry L. Halsey, Jr. was designated to the Arkansas Highway Commission by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders in January 2025.

He is the founder, CEO, and President of Halsey Thrasher Harpole Real Estate Group, operating offices in Jonesboro and Benton.

Jerry graduated from Arkansas State University. During his college years, he engaged in real estate sales, worked on his father’s farm for some time, and later grew the family business into real estate.

He possesses a real estate license across several states and qualifies for various designations based on his training and expertise. Jerry was honored with induction into the Northeast Arkansas Board of Realtors Hall of Fame. Presently, he functions as Vice-Chair of the Arkansas Real Estate Commission and serves on the Board of Directors for the Arkansas State Police Foundation.

Previously, Jerry had a role as a Commissioner for the Arkansas Building Authority, chaired the Jonesboro Metropolitan Area Planning Commission, was a member of the Jonesboro Vision 2030 comprehensive planning advisory commission, was the SIOR President for the Arkansas Chapter, and served as President of the Board of Directors for City Youth Ministries.

His term as a commissioner is set to conclude in January 2035.
