A recent 200-page analysis released by Epyllion indicates that PC gaming has been surpassing consoles over the past ten years, “surging ahead of console systems and generating greater content expenditure and revenue,” states Insider Gaming. From the report: One slide indicated that since 2011, the expenditure on PC content has overshadowed ‘living room’ console income by over 65%, and it has accumulated 225% more than the ‘combined console’ expenditure. That amounts to a total of $30 billion, if you wish to quantify it. Those figures do not account for hardware and accessories.
