ARLINGTON – Numerous fans enjoyed Saturday in a baseball utopia for the 37th annual Texas Rangers Fan Fest at Globe Life Field.
The occasion featured on-field events, a baseball card exhibition, and chances to engage with players.
Roughly 6,000 Texas Rangers fans aimed to hit a home run during the event, which included on-field events, a baseball card exhibition, and chances to engage with players.
Supporters of all ages and capabilities stepped up to the plate and took their best swing at running the bases and participating in a wiffle ball home run contest, plus they had the opportunity to meet the Rangers’ mascot Captain at the fan festival.
They were able to meet star players during autograph signing times, photo opportunities, and question-and-answer rounds. Rangers’ cheerleaders welcomed supporters at the entrance.
“I’ve been a Ranger supporter my entire life. I’m nearly 50 years old, so it’s been a significant while. It’s just thrilling to be able to see them and meet them face-to-face,” Jonathan Jordan expressed.
Those associated with the Texas Rangers are hopeful that the event inspired fans for the baseball season commencing on March 27.
“I believe the first thing they need to recognize is we have a very strong team this year. We have a solid chance of returning to postseason play and to simply get energized about the baseball season ahead and prepare to watch the Rangers play,” stated Chuck Morgan, the Rangers’ Executive Vice President of Ballpark Entertainment.
