Preschoolers will engage with science via inspiring storytime and straightforward, interactive science stations. From the enchantment of magnets to the enigmas of light, this initiative is an excellent approach to introduce kids to the fascinating realm of science while enjoying themselves.

Cape Fear Botanical Garden’s preschool initiatives captivate and stimulate young learners through storytimes, hands-on projects, and outdoor adventures. Foster your child’s passion for nature, art, and science with specialized programs crafted particularly for our youngest garden adventurers.

Target Audience: Ages 2-5 accompanied by a parent or guardian. Siblings are permitted to attend but must be listed on the registration form.

What to Know? Come prepared to explore outdoors. There are two consecutive one-hour sessions of this class. The identical class is offered twice to accommodate additional children.

Location: Please check in with the Gift Shop for the class location. Preschool may take place in our classroom or the Children’s Garden Pavilion.

Fees: $15 per child, $5 for members. The fee includes preschool class activities as well as admission to the Garden for one adult and the child. Children under 1 may accompany an older sibling at no additional charge.
