Yesterday, I discussed MINDWAVE (make sure to check it out because it’s fantastic), and today I want to focus on February’s Afterlove EP. The game serves as the final endeavor of Mohammad Fahmi, who sadly passed away in 2022. Fahmi was an Indonesian indie game developer renowned for creating Coffee Talk and What Comes After. Afterlove EP is characterized as a slice-of-life adventure game revolving around Rama, a musician struggling to cope after the loss of his girlfriend.

Afterlove EP perfectly blends elements of visual novel, dating sim, narrative adventure, and rhythm game. I happened to glance at the upcoming game releases for February and couldn’t overlook this charming title. You can download the demo on Steam in eager anticipation of the game being released on February 14, 2025. (It’s a stylish and delightful teaser that I highly recommend trying.)
