Get Ready to Dash: The LSSC Shamrock Shuffle Kicks Off on March 1st!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 1, 2025, as the Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) Shamrock Shuffle makes its return to Clermont! This annual St. Patrick’s Day-inspired event welcomes the entire community to take part in a family-friendly 5K or 10K run. The festivities commence at 8:00 AM at the Lake-Sumter State College South Lake Campus, situated at 1250 North Hancock Road, Clermont, FL 34711.

The Shamrock Shuffle boasts a scenic route that starts on the South Lake campus and includes the beautiful South Lake Trail through the Hancock Extension. Participants can look forward to a delightful mix of campus and trail views before finishing back at the campus. Whether you are an experienced runner or simply seeking a fun way to celebrate the season, this event is perfect for you.

All participants who register will receive a commemorative t-shirt and a gift bag filled with treats. The race will be timed by professionals, and awards will be presented to the top runners in each category.

For those participants aged 21 and over, the celebration continues after the race in our beer garden, serving green beer to celebrate your achievements.
