YPSILANTI, Mich. – Sophomore Leah Evans secured individual victories in the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly on Friday as Toledo succumbed to Eastern Michigan in their dual meet, 175-117.

Evans achieved first place in the 100 butterfly with a time of 56.63 and triumphed in the 200 butterfly with a result of 2:08.45. Additionally, the sophomore finished third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:16.57. Freshman Mackenzie Bushey also claimed a first-place finish in the 200 breaststroke, clocking in at 2:29.84.

Freshman Rosie Richards earned second place in both the 200 freestyle (1:54.83) and the 500 freestyle (5:09.81). Junior Janne Slegers secured second in the 50 freestyle (24.18) and the 100 freestyle (52.62).

Junior Paula Pavillard recorded two podium finishes, taking second in the 200 IM (2:15.20) and third in the 200 backstroke (2:11.82).

On the diving platform, Amanda Dosey placed third in the 1M event, achieving a final score of 226.50.

The Rockets’ relay teams garnered several top-three placements. The 400 medley relay team of Gracie Pardue, Mackenzie Bushey, Leah Evans, and Janne Slegers secured second with a time of 3:56.15.
