“Discover the Science of Bubbles: Michigan’s Interactive Learning Experience!”

CLIO, Mich. – Enthusiasm was rising this weekend at Mid-Michigan Libraries.

Miss Lena from Michigan Bubble Fun conducted engaging science demonstrations at the Clio Area Library and the Davison Area Library.

Her initiative provides an instructional, sensory-friendly program that children adore.

Miss Lena, whose full name is Angelina Bertoni, is a preschool educator from Grand Rapids; she carries out these activities in her free time to foster a love for science among children.

The motivation behind her bubbly presentation was a student in a wheelchair from one of her classes.

“I wanted to create a safe, sensory bubble experience that she could enjoy on the sidewalk. From there, we began exploring bubble tricks together, and I started learning how to control bubbles,” explained Lena.

Her greatest delight in conducting shows is interacting with the children and encouraging their curiosity to learn.

“I truly enjoy connecting with the kids and helping them discover the wonder of science. As a child, I struggled with dyslexia, and learning math was particularly challenging. Having something that motivates you to engage with math or inspires an interest in science is invaluable. It just takes one magical moment; let’s hope that bubble doesn’t burst too soon,” Lena shared.
