INDUSTRY IMPACT
Competing with Xreal
Lenovo has established its presence in the display headset market, beginning with the release of the Lenovo Glasses T1 in 2022, which functioned as a virtual monitor for mobile devices, supporting full-HD resolution for each eye across multiple operating systems, including Android, Windows, macOS, and iOS.
The launch of the Legion Glasses 2 places Lenovo in competition with established brands such as Xreal, RayNeo, and Rokid. While Xreal has recently introduced a new lineup of devices equipped with native 3-DoF tracking and basic AR capabilities, Lenovo seeks to incorporate the Legion Glasses 2 into its gaming ecosystem, which also features the recently announced Lenovo Legion Go S handheld.
