Williamsport, Pa. – On Saturday, the Juniata men’s swimming squad took part in a tri-meet against Lycoming College and Wilkes University at the Lamade Gymnasium Natatorium. The Eagles had mixed results, triumphing over Lycoming with a score of 120 to 46, but losing 118-65 to Wilkes.

The event kicked off with the 200-yard medley relay, where the A team composed of Marshall Radonovich, Max Baronner, Kevin Bowser, and Christian Rota secured a second-place finish with a time of 1:49.28. The B team, featuring Matthew Tiernan, Isaac March, Jay Gajiwala, and Jim Oster, concluded the race in third place with a time of 1:57.03.

James Oster achieved third place in the 1650-yard freestyle, registering a time of 22:14.20.

Marshall Radonovich led the Juniata team in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing in second with a time of 1:56.47. Following him, William Dovey captured third with a time of 2:08.54, while Gajiwala came in fifth at 2:21.60.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Christian Rota earned third place with a finish of 1:04.48, trailed by Kevin Bowser, who claimed fourth with a time of 1:07.95.

Max Baronner clinched first place in the 100-yard breaststroke, completing the race in 1:06.89, with Oster taking third in 1:17.44.

Delivering a commendable performance in the 100-yard butterfly, Radonovich finished third, stopping the clock at 59.94. Tiernan followed closely with a time of 1:06.67.

The 500-yard freestyle witnessed Bowser claimed second with a time of 5:57.79, as March secured third with a finish of 6:46.92.

In the 200-yard IM, Baronner placed third, with a time of 2:20.22, and Dovey followed in fourth at 2:31.62.

The event wrapped up with the 200-yard freestyle relay, where the team of Dovey, Oster, Gajiwala, and Tiernan achieved second place, recording a time of 1:43.46.

The upcoming meet for the men’s swimming team against Lebanon Valley scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed.
