Diving into Success: Women’s Swimming & Diving Shines at Grinnell College Invite!

GRINNELL, Iowa – The women’s swimming and diving team from Coe College participated in the Grinnell College Invite on Friday and Saturday. The performances were spearheaded by standout individual placements from Devyn Nabarrete, Natalie Pirozek, Valerie Gutierrez and Holly Gutierrez , with the squad achieving several top-20 placements. Four relay teams finished 11th for the Kohawks, coming in 11th in the 400 Medley, 200 Free, 200 Medley, and 400 Free relays. Valerie Gutierrez achieved two of the squad’s best finishes, coming in 11th in the 200 Fly and 12th in the 100 Fly. Pirozek also attained a pair of top-20 finishes for the Kohawk women, placing 15th in the 100 Free and 17th in the 400 IM.
