NEW CASTLE, DEL. – Niagara secured victories in four out of five contests on the second day of the Northeast Classic, organized by Sacred Heart. Junior Emily Brock spearheaded the Purple Eagles with a total pinfall of 1,045 across the five-game series.
 
Game 1: Niagara 962, Kutztown 1,017
 
The Purple Eagles gave a valiant effort but fell to Kutztown. Junior Emily Brock delivered a notable performance, scoring 226.
 
Game 2: Niagara 1,022, #17 Mount St. Mary’s 998
 
 Niagara registered their first victory of the day against the well-known rival and 17th-ranked Mount St. Mary’s, winning by a margin of 24 pins. Junior Sydney Skimmer led the Purple and White with a score of 227.
 
Game 3: Niagara 1,084, #5 Arkansas State 970
 
Niagara achieved their second victory of the day against fifth-ranked Arkansas State, delivering an outstanding score of 1,084. Four out of five Purple Eagles scored over 200 in this game, including another remarkable effort from Emily Brock (236), followed by senior Taylor Strickland (222).
 
Game 4: Niagara 928, Holy Family 835
 
The Purple and White continued their winning streak by claiming victory in the fourth match of the day, defeating Holy Family by a margin of 93 pins. Sydney Skimmer had another solid performance with a score of 223.
 
Game 5: Niagara 985, #15 Tulane 898
 
The second day concluded with yet another impressive showing and a triumph over 15th-ranked Tulane. Freshman Jocelyn Smith bowled her best game of the day, scoring 236.
