Morsy and Rachjaibun Shine Bright with Summit League Accolades!

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –  Senior men’s diver from the University of Denver, Zyad Morsy , along with sophomore women’s swimmer Sabrina Rachjaibun , have been recognized as Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performers of the Week, as stated by the league office on Tuesday.
 
During the initial day of the 2025 Cal Diving Invite, Zyad Morsy achieved seventh place in the 1-meter prelims and sixth in the 1-meter finals with scores of 307.85 and 322.40, both of which meet NCAA Zone Cut standards. In the 3-meter event at the invite, Morsy secured 11^th in the prelims (312.55) and finished eighth in the finals with an NCAA Zone Cut score of 334.40.
 
Rachjaibun and the Pioneer swimmers commenced the week at Utah. The sophomore from Denver triumphed in the 200 fly with a time of 2:06.15, later placing second in the 500 free with a time of 5:07.39. During Denver’s dual meet at BYU on Saturday, Rachjaibun once again clinched the 200 fly, this time with a time of 2:01.83. She secured her third event victory of the weekend by winning the women’s 500 free with a time of 4:59.54.
 
UP NEXT: The divers from Denver will return to competition at the 2025 Air Force Diving Invite from Thursday, January 30 to Saturday, February 1. The Pioneer swimmers are set to compete again on Saturday, February 1, when Denver heads to Colorado Springs for the annual Sprint Eliminator meet with Air Force.
