New Twists in Elon Musk’s Controversial Gaming ‘Cheat’ Accusations

Elon Musk is at the focal point of a significant controversy that has become the buzz on social media – and it has taken another major turn as he has indeed confessed to it.

No, not that… However, the wealthiest individual on the planet has acknowledged that he has been sharing his account when it involves enhancing his character in Path of Exile 2.

Musk’s gaming qualifications were scrutinized towards the end of the previous year after he proclaimed his Diablo 4 successes (which have since been validated by Grimes).

Yet, Path of Exile 2 specialist Quin69 raised doubts regarding a recent stream of Musk engaging in the game on X / Twitter.

Quin69 inquired whether it was genuinely him who had been playing, as substantial gaps were detected in his knowledge that appeared inconsistent with his account’s progression, Dexerto reported.

This prompted Quin69 to accuse Musk of having someone else play on his behalf, a claim supported by Asmongold, sparking a significant online dispute, with other users on social media alleging Musk of cheating.

Now, not only have screenshots surfaced of Musk acknowledging that he engages in account sharing, but he was also exposed during Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20.

Starting with the initial incident, DMs were disseminated by NikoWrex with Musk’s approval in a YouTube segment, as per Windows Central.

Within the messages, NikoWrex questioned: “Have you level boosted (had someone else play your accounts) and/or acquired gear/resources for PoE2 and Diablo 4?”

Musk responded with the 100 emoji, stating he is “on multiple streams with Rob and Ace,” but clarified that “when I post a video of a game or am streaming, that’s 100 percent me”.

Responding to a previously mentioned inquiry about level boosting, Musk remarked: “It’s impossible to defeat the players in Asia if you don’t, as they do!”

He further added he “never claimed” he would take full credit for progressing those characters.

As if that wasn’t adequate, Musk was also uncovered during Trump’s inauguration.

In a video uploaded online, Quin69 captured Musk’s character being played in Path of Exile 2 – exactly at the same time he was live on screen at Trump’s inauguration, seemingly present in two locations simultaneously.
