NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) declares its Women’s Swimming & Diving Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday for events held from Monday, Jan. 13 to Sunday, Jan. 19.

Swimming: Natalie Porter, Illinois Wesleyan, Junior (Danville, Ill.)
Porter secured two victories and a total of four top-three placements in a couple of triangular competitions on Jan. 17-18.

Following her second position in the 200 freestyle (2:04.66) and third in the 100 backstroke (1:07.87), Porter achieved victories in a triangular meet with Carthage and Illinois Tech. She finished first in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:24.06 and added another victory in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:53.63. Her season-best time in the 1000 free is the top in the CCIW this season by almost 10 seconds.

Diving: Lara Stamp, Wheaton, Freshman (Valparaiso, Ind.)
Stamp claimed her fourth CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week accolade for the 2024-25 season, becoming the first diver from Wheaton to meet an NCAA Regional cut in diving since 2015, with a score of 413.90 on 1-meter against Lake Forest last Saturday. It marked the second-highest score in Wheaton’s history.

She also accomplished her highest 3-meter score, surpassing her previous by 22.80 points, winning the 6 dive competition at 228.85
