Carlisle United Community Sports Trust is thrilled to announce the CST Fun Run, scheduled for Sunday, March 23, commencing at 8:45 am near Brunton Park.
This event, in collaboration with Run Carlisle and Borderway Finance, offers a chance for children ages 4-14 to take part in a mile-long run, which starts and finishes at the stadium.
Participants will need to pay £8 each for entry, which includes a medal and a goody bag, as well as the chance to run alongside Carlisle United mascot, Olga the Fox.
The total number of runners is limited to 200, so be sure not to miss out on what promises to be an incredible event leading up to the Carlisle Half Marathon and 10K.

James Tose, CEO of Carlisle United Community Sports Trust, remarked: “We are thrilled to unveil the Carlisle United Community Sports Trust Fun Run.
At CUFC CST, health and wellbeing are at the core of our mission, making this a superb opportunity for children in our community to engage in a fun event where their families can come out and cheer them on.”
Ian Milburn, Event Director for Run Carlisle, stated: “We’re now in our sixth year with the Carlisle Half Marathon and 10k. We conducted the Fun Run during the initial years but found it overwhelming to handle.
“James and I met in 2024 and explored the possibility of involving CUFC CST in reviving the Fun Run, and here we are.
“We are pleased to have this partnership with CUFC CST and anticipate a wonderful day ahead.”
Mike Deans, Managing Director of Borderway Finance, added: “We’re happy to support CUFC CST in their remarkable efforts to inspire and enhance the development of our community through sports.”
