A collection of festivals is set to occur to honor various towns in North East Lincolnshire, according to a council announcement.
The Love Your Town complimentary events will take place on weekends in February, with the inaugural event happening in Cleethorpes on 2 February, followed by Immingham on 8 February and Grimsby on 15 February.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy live performances, participate in tours, explore pop-up markets, and even engage in workshops in each town.
Councillor Hayden Dawkins expressed excitement about the return of the Love Your Town events.
He stated: “These are the ideal chance to showcase what our three main towns can provide.
“I urge everyone to come out and partake in the performances, pop-up markets, activities, and workshops.”
North East Lincolnshire Council also mentioned an event titled The Great North East Lincs Poetry Trail, which will honor local poets and showcase their writing in various storefronts across the towns.
During the Love Cleethorpes event, visitors will experience a street festival on Sea View Street, featuring food stalls, live music, installations, and street theater.
St Peter’s Church Hall will also host a pop-up market filled with handmade crafts, jewelry, and artisanal food, along with a food tour of Cleethorpes.
Simultaneously, the Love Immingham event will include a coach tour to the Port of Immingham, the largest port in the UK.
Food aficionados will delight in the Love Grimsby day, as there will be a guided food tour through the town center.
Sarah Palmer’s Urban Sketch Tour will additionally guide individuals around Grimsby, complemented by a historical walk led by Emma Lingard.
