Capture the Moment: Seeking Photography Wizards for British Weight Lifting!

For the delivery of photography services for British Weight Lifting (BWL) Competitions (2025)

British Weight Lifting (BWL) serves as the National Governing Body for weightlifting and para-powerlifting within the UK and we aim to motivate a community of lifters through outstanding leadership and knowledge. Our responsibilities encompass the development and triumph of weightlifting and para powerlifting across all tiers, and we engage with a network of organizations, clubs, and gyms nationwide.

In the course of our operations, we organize various British, English, and Regional events throughout the UK. For several of our events, we partner with larger entities in the fitness, strength, and Crossfit sectors, which yields shared advantages for both parties, particularly through increased fan/spectator engagement, improved commercial visibility, and heightened marketing/promotion opportunities.

To elevate our events and enhance customer satisfaction, British Weight Lifting is looking for a company or individual with suitable experience, expertise, and capabilities to deliver top-notch photography services at our events.

 

Requirements

• Deliver photography services* at all BWL competitions throughout 2025, including: British Championships, England Championships, British Age Group Championships, England Age Group Championships, BWL Regional Open events, and British Masters Open events. (Participation in other BWL events may be included in the schedule, and attendance for these is optional).
• Photography must encompass all platforms and competitors at each competition (typically two or three platforms).
• Capture images of all athlete introductions/presentations and medal ceremonies
• Offer sales packages of photographs (printed and/or digital) for lifters, including handling all member inquiries, sales transactions, and order fulfillment.
• All photos must be available to BWL for promotional, non-commercial purposes only.
• Comply with BWL terms and conditions, including the mandatory use of the watermark bwl.tv.

Access to the competition area, warmup space (backstage), venue setup, and officiating areas as needed (e.g., technical official relaxation area) will be granted to the designated photographer.

*Video packages are optional.

Proposal Submission

Please submit your proposal detailing how you would be well-positioned to fulfill this role, including your relevant experience. Also, provide information regarding the packages you would offer to lifters (alongside prices) and commercial conditions you would propose to BWL for this agreement.
