1. Professor Crackitt’s Light Fantastic Mirror Maze

Professor Crackitt’s Light Fantastic Mirror Maze is an enchanting maze filled with mirrors and infinite reflections. Visitors can navigate through the life-sized maze to assist Professor Crackitt in locating his missing pet parrot, Wattnot.

The maze’s mirror-image corridors create an endless cycle of confusing passages, challenging your sense of direction. As you traverse, you’ll encounter the Professor’s whimsical inventions, such as the Dynamic Chromatology Shadow Splitter, where you can create vibrant shadows by obstructing various lights. Don’t forget to capture your memories with mesmerizing photographs!

2. Phobia²: The Science of Fear

From public speaking to creepy clowns or even the fear of being buried alive, fears are varied and numerous. If you’re prepared to confront your anxieties, then Phobia²: The Science of Fear is the ideal destination! This acclaimed exhibition explores the cultural, psychological, and physiological dimensions of fear, shedding light on its effect on everyday existence.

Here, you can tackle thrilling challenges like spending the night in a coffin or boosting your confidence by addressing a virtual audience while embarking on a quest to better understand fear and yourself.

3. Space Explorers: THE INFINITE

Calling all space lovers! Space Explorers: THE INFINITE, a globally recognized exhibition, is presently being held at Science Centre Singapore — its inaugural stop in Southeast Asia. As the most extensive immersive space exploration experience influenced by NASA missions, this remarkable exhibit employs VR technology to transport you into the marvels of outer space.

Find yourself soaring 400 kilometers above Earth, sharing unique moments with astronauts aboard the International Space Station in VR. Experience breathtaking views of our planet and exclusive footage of Earth captured from space — this VR journey promises a truly extraordinary experience! How amazing is that?

4. The Mind’s Eye

Think outside of conventions. The mind can be deceptive — often, what we perceive is not exactly what’s there! At The Mind’s Eye, you will explore the wonders of illusion and the strength of perception through an array of mind-twisting exhibits. Additionally, you can take silly pictures for social media!

At The Unexpected Dinner exhibit, you can peek through a hole to experience a fascinating illusion created by skillfully arranged mirrors that make your body appear to vanish. Meanwhile, the Giant Chair invites you to look through a special peephole, allowing its seemingly mismatched components to align into a complete chair. With subjects for photos, this visual trick becomes even more intriguing, providing a playful glimpse into how our brain tends to simplify our view.

5. Know Your Poo

Know Your Poo is among the most eccentric exhibitions at the Science Centre Singapore. Step inside the Cheeky Fart Chamber to discover the science behind why we fart and what triggers the odor; or challenge your knowledge in How Well Do You Poo?, where you’ll investigate what affects bowel movements and compare yours to the Bristol Stool Chart — a tool utilized by doctors to explain digestive health.

For those intrigued by the cultural evolution of daily life, take a glimpse into what toilets in Singapore were like 60 years ago, and understand the value of good habits, such as recognizing what can and cannot be flushed down the toilet to contribute to a healthier community.

6. Savage Garden

Venture into the Savage Garden to uncover amusing facts about carnivorous plants, from their fascinating capabilities to their distinct eating habits.

Visit our Plant Theatre, where our delightful carnivorous plant characters spring to life with singing, dancing, and raving about their preferred foods! Explore the breathtaking Paludarium Tank, which is home to a lively assortment of live carnivorous plants. Remember to take unforgettable snapshots in this interactive and photogenic exhibition—ideal for inquisitive minds and nature lovers!

7. Laser Maze

Ever envisioned yourself as a ninja, overcoming every challenge? The Laser Maze Experience at the Science Centre Singapore features three exhilarating exhibits that will test your agility, strategy, and reflexes!

In Entrapment, you’ll need to plan and navigate through a shifting laser maze. Beam Buster, on the contrary, tests your stamina, urging you to leap and dash to break as many laser beams as possible before time runs out. Lastly, channel your inner ninja as you expertly weave through a dense labyrinth of over 50 lasers in the Laser Maze Challenge, skillfully avoiding every beam. It’s a heart-pounding adventure for all ages!

8. E.S.C. – ESCAPE @ SCIENCE CENTRE

Searching for more exhilarating, fun-filled activities to enjoy with friends? Challenge yourself by uncovering unique storylines and STEM-themed puzzles with Escape @ Science Centre, providing immersive experiences from ball-filled enclosures to trembling floors.

Select from three adrenaline-inducing scenarios: navigate surviving a climate apocalypse as the final humans remaining in Museum of Humankind, escape the glitchy Shangri-La metaverse, or delve into Dr. X’s facility to rescue your missing companion. Regardless of the room you opt for, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable challenge and plenty of photo opportunities! The real question is, are you ready for the challenge?

9. Energy Titans Show

Apart from the interactive exhibits, Science Centre Singapore also presents captivating live performances. The Energy Titans Show is an electrifying live demonstration that showcases humanity’s discovery and utilization of electrical energy through the magnificent Tesla Coils.

From witnessing stunning lightning arcs that create music to taking part in a Faraday cage challenge, this 15-minute show is packed with high-energy demonstrations. However, be aware that this show may not be suitable for the faint of heart! Caution is advised for individuals with pacemakers, as well as those sensitive to flashing lights or loud sounds.

10. Fire Tornado Show

Another captivating performance that appeals to everyone is the Fire Tornado Show…

Show. As captivating as its title, it presents an exhilarating display where a fire whirlwind is simulated in a specially constructed chamber. Observe as towering flames rotate in a potent vortex, attaining temperatures exceeding 600°C.
